The India Post has officially announced the India Post GDS Recruitment 2026 under Notification No. 17-37/2025-GDS. Filling thousands of Gramin Dak Sevak positions in various Indian postal circles such as Dak Sevak-Branch Postmaster {BPM} and Assistant Branch Postmaster {ABPM} is the aim of this recruitment. The online application will be available from the 31st of January in 2026 to the 14th of February in 2026. The announcement was published on 28 January in 2026. The selection process will be based only on Class 10 marks so there won’t be any written exam/interview held. Eligible candidates may apply online only if they are between the ages of 18 and 40 and have completed Class 10 in maths and English. What procedure will be followed for the selection?

Selection under the India Post GDS Recruitment 2026 is entirely merit-based. The merit list is prepared using Class 10th marks and calculated up to four decimal places to make sure of fairness and transparency. Salary and Allowances:
