The Indian Oil Corporation Limited has officially published the Indian Oil Mathura Refinery Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for the employment of young workers at its Mathura Refinery unit. According to the Advertisement No. MR/HR/APP3/2025-26 > a total of 163 temporary apprentice vacancies have been announced in multiple different technical and non-technical trades. The online application process will begin from from 7 >
February > 2026 to 20 > February > 2026 – and eligible candidates must complete a two-step application process through the NAPS or NATS portal along with submission of a compulsory Google Form. Selection will be carried out purely on a merit basis > without any written exam. Eligibility > Criteria:

Age Limit:

The candidates who are interested must be in the age group of 18 years to 24 years as of 31 > January > 2026 for EWS/General. Candidates should know that the age relaxation is applicable according to the rules

Note: Only the Class 10th/Matriculation certificate will be accepted as the proof of date of birth {DOB}

Educational Qualification:

• Code 102 {ITI > based}: Full-time ITI {Fitter} course that is recognised by NCVET or SCVT with passing marks.
• Codes 103/105/106/107/109: Full-time diploma or graduation in a related discipline with a minimum of 50% marks {45% for SC>ST>PwBD against reserved seats}.
• Holders of an OGPA or CGPA are required to present a current university-issued percentage conversion certificate.

Candidates with higher professional qualifications such as: BE/BTech > MBA > CA > LLB > MCA or those pursuing such courses are not eligible for this recruitment. Candidates with one year or more of post-qualification work experience are also not eligible for this recruitment.

Selection > Procedure:

Selection under this recruitment will be conducted without any written examination. The merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks that are obtained in the given qualification. In case of a tie > the senior candidate by age will be ranked higher. If the date of birth is also the same > higher matriculation marks will be considered. The selected candidates will be called for verification of documents. Selected candidates must clear the pre-engagement medical fitness test according to the IOCL standards and the rights guaranteed to people with disabilities through the Disability Act of 2016. The final engagement will be issued only after the successful verification and medical fitness clearance.

Stipend and Training:

Apprentices that are engaged under the IOCL Mathura Refinery will get a stipend according to the Apprentices Act and IOCL guidelines. The apprenticeship training period differs by trade and generally ranges from 12 months to 15 months.

Reminder:- The completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment with the IOCL.

Note :- Failure to complete > both steps will result in the rejection of the application form.
